Assisted Treatment

If your pet is sick, and you’re unable to afford the full cost of veterinary bills – the Bolton Branch is able to help with a limited contribution towards the cost of obtaining a diagnosis from your local veterinary surgeon (you must be in receipt of an appropriate means-tested benefit).

Alternatively, if a pensioner, unemployed, in receipt of sickness/invalidity benefit, income support, family credit, housing or widows benefit and you live in any ‘BL’ postcode – you may take your pet to our Greater Manchester Animal Hospital: 411 Eccles New Road, Salford. 0300 1230 711(open 6am – 4pm weekdays only, consultations from 7am)

If you live in a ‘BL’ postcode area and are in receipt of a benefit other than those listed above, please contact the hospital for further guidance as to whether or not you qualify for help.Having obtained a diagnosis from a private vet, again, we may be able to help by way of a limited contribution towards to cost of your pet’s treatment – or you may ask your vet for a referral letter to the Salford Animal Hospital.
